The Miso meat sauce can be make ahead. The meat is strongly seasoned for storage purpose, it can be kept in the refrigerator up to a week. I just reheat the amount I needed in microwave or in the frying pan. Good for bento 😀

All Purpose Miso Meat Sauce
Ingredients
- 340 g ground pork (I used ground chicken)
- 1 knob ginger
- 2 green onions/scallions
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 4 Tbsp miso
- 2 Tbsp sugar
Seasonings
- 3 Tbsp mirin
- 3 Tbsp sake
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp water
- 2 tsp potato starch / cornstarch
