Sesame chicken is a dish commonly found in Chinese restaurants throughout the United States. The dish is similar to General Tso's chicken but the taste of the Chinese-based chicken is sweet rather than spicy.

Crispy Sesame Chicken (without Deep Frying)
3-4 servings
- 450 grams chicken thighs, cut to bite-size chunks (I used chicken breast)
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 Tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp Chinkiang vinegar
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 green onions, chopped
