15 July 2013 - Chocolate Peanut Puff Pastry Pinwheel

It was from the last batch of store bought puff pastry. Just enough for eight cookies. It is quick and easy to make.


The filling is chocolate paste (store bought or thick version of cream pastry with chocolate and/or cocoa milk) and coarsely chopped baked peanuts.  Spread the fillings at top of puff pastry dough. Roll, refrigerate, cut, put in pan and bake.

PS. I made them again for Idul Fitri's cookies gift and it was a hit among my co-workers.
