Dakdoritang or Dakbokkeum
serves 6-8
chicken parts (or 1 whole chicken)
2 large potatoes
½ onion
½ carrot
2 small red peppers
handful garlic cloves
For the sauce:
1 Tbsp mince garlic
3 Tbsp soy sauce
½ cup water
2 Tbsp red pepper powder (gochugaru)
2 Tbsp red pepper paste (gochujang)
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp reice wine
1½ Tbsp honey
½ Tbsp onion powder
2 Tbsp ketchup
Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
