Note: for breakfast with store bought beef satay and tomato.

Oatmeal Soda Bread 
makes one loaf

170 g old fashioned rolled oats (I used quick oats)
290 g all purpose flour plus more for dusting
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp kosher salt
350 ml buttermilk (I used milk + vinegar)
1 egg, lightly beaten
Butter for greasing the pan
