In the Beginning or (Cooking with Dog's Melonpan)

The oldest record of cooking/baking I've found was dated 31th December 2011. It was Cooking with Dog's Melonpan. Back then I wanted to find a 
new pursuit of interest and I've always enjoyed tasty foods. I watched the video several times, baked the bread and when they were cool enough, I borrowed the camera from my mom's hand phone and had no idea about lightning, focus and whatsoever (hmm...maybe not so much improvement too these days LOL ). Oh the bread was quite good for first timer and  the experience was rewarding enough so I've found a new hobby.

I seldom write down the recipes I've tried or when I did, I scribbled it on a piece of paper and then the paper got stuck somewhere. So I think I'll write the recipes in a blog with links to the original recipe and when I want to make it again it'll be easier.

Bread Dough
 140g   Bread Flour
   25g   Sugar
1/3tsp Salt
     5g   Non-Fat Dry Milk Powder
     3g   Instant Yeast
1Tbsp Beaten Egg
 70ml  Warm Water
   15g   Butter
Bread Flour for Dusting

Cookie Dough
   25g  Unsalted Butter
   35g  Sugar
   25g  Beaten Egg
   80g  Cake/Pastry Flour
1/4tsp Baking Powder
Bread Flour for Dusting
