Eggs in treasure bags (Tamago no takarabukuro)

3 July 2012 - Egg in Aburaage

Basically egg in treasure bag is a raw egg dropped into a bag which is made from aburaage or inarizushi skin, then poached inside dashi stock.
I made the recipe with homemade aburaage, using tahu Yunyi which are sliced thinly, dried, and then deep fried. The homemade aburaage were (o.0) not perfectly done, there were leakage, making it hard to poach the egg, but the eggs in treasure bags turn out cute ^^;
