Torihamu (鶏ハム) or Homemade Chicken "Ham"

I used the oven method, the ham is tasty with black pepper. The other herbs give good flavor and fragrant ^^
The recipe is from Just Bento (haven't I say that I love the site)
Torihamu or Homemade Chicken "Ham"
serves 2-4
250g boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 Tbsp honey, or use sugar instead
1 1/2 tsp salt, sea salt preferred
1/2 tsp or taste coarsely ground black pepper
dried or fresh herbs of your choice, finely chopped if fresh. (ex. thyme)
Marinate the chicken with the seasoning for 48 hours. Wash off surface salt from the chicken and soak to de-salinate. Poach or bake the chicken.
