Japanese Scotch Egg

A Scotch egg consists of a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in bread crumbs and baked or deep-fried.
I used quail egg and pan-fried them (hence the not so round shape) ^0^

Japanese Scotch Egg
350g combined ground beef and pork, or just beef or just pork.
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 Tbsp panko or bread crumbs
1 raw egg
1/2 tsp. salt
Black pepper and nutmeg, freshly ground to taste
4 hard boiled eggs (I use 20 quail eggs)
Flour
Oil for cooking
Ketchup
