The Shinya Shokudo Series - KATSUDON - Fried Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl
(。◠‿◠。) soft creamy savory sweet sauce with crunchy tonkatsu.

Katsudon
serves 1

1 bowlful Plain cooked rice
1 Tonkatsu (or chicken katsu) - homemade or store-bought
1/4 Onion
2 Egg

50 ml Water
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Mirin
1 Tbsp Sake
1 1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Dashi stock granules


For the Katsudon I used "No-Fry Tonkatsu Pork Cutlet ", it's not deep fried but baked so lower calories ,,^‿^,,

No-Fry Tonkatsu Pork Cutlet
serves 2
2 cutlets pork
1 egg
3 Tbsp Japanese worcestershire-style sauce
1 Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mayonaise
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
salt and pepper
1 tsp ground white sesame seeds
a dash of oil
panko
