The Chinese sausage replaced bacon give sweet umami. I add crispy garlic and fermented bean curd aka "Chinese cheese" for extra umami and savory... (^o^)b

Chinese Style Carbonara
serves 2

    2 links of Chinese sausage, chopped
    1 large egg
    1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
    freshly ground pepper
    113 g spaghetti or long pasta of choice
    1 green onion, sliced
