Note: next time I'll soak the glutinous rice before cooking
The recipe is from Lady and Pups
Rice Pie
serves 2 dinner portions
1 cup of Jasmine rice (a long grain rice used in Thai cuisine)
1/3 cup of sticky rice (a glutinous rice that can be found in all major Asian market)
1 1/4 cup of water
2 Tbsp of oil
1 tsp of sesame oil
150 g of Cantonese cured sausage, sliced
350 g of ground pork
1/2 tsp of mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine), or 1/4 tsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of sesame oil
3 1/2 tsp of soy sauce
1/4 tsp of white pepper
1/4 tsp of salt
2 tsp of corn starch
4 ~ 5 Tbsp of water
some scallions, cilantro and chili
