Steamed Buns with Yam Bean (Jicama or Bangkuang) Filling

Steamed Buns with Yam Bean (Jicama or Bangkuang) Filling
serves 15

For steamed buns dough:
200 ml lukewarm water
375 g flour
11/2 tsp  baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 Tbsp caster sugar
2 tsp instant dry yeast
2 tsp oil
Baking paper for base

For jicama filling:
600 g jicama, washed, peeled and juliened
1 medium carrot, washed, peeled and juliened
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
100 g pork - sliced
4 Tbsp oil
200 ml water
salt and white pepper to taste
2 Tbsp light soy sauce (optional)
