It's a smooth creamy rice flour pudding with pandan leaves fragrant and suji leaves vibrant color, the savory coconut milk and the sweetness of palm sugar...(=^o^=) 


I love them. My mother sometimes bought them in a wet market or she brought them from her weekly exercise. Recently, she couldn't find it in the market, and she attended a different exercise group. I miss them. I try to find the recipe so I could make it t home, but I can't find the exact recipe. The closest recipe is from Eresep (can't fine the page). I modified it. I used two color (white and green) pudding, layered in a glass with palm sugar water at top.

Tepung Pelita

For the white pudding (1):
500 ml coconut milk
50 g rice flour
2 pandan leaves
1/4 tsp salt

For the green pudding (2):
same as (1), the difference is 500 ml coconut milk substitute with 450 ml coconut milk + 50 ml pandan and suji water

For palm sugar water (3):
300 g palm sugar
1 pandan leaves
1/4 tsp salt
150 ml water

For each part (1), (2), (3) add the ingredients in a pan over medium heat, mix well until boiled.
